I personally have heard too many ads for the people running for senate. I have heard about Scott Brown and Jean Shaheen on the radio since the end of August. Then by the end of September they were on every commercial break on TV. Scott Brown has spent about $1.3 million while Jean Shaheen has spent about $3.5 million on their campaigns. She just about doubles how much Scott Brown has spent. I personally believe that Government officials are spending way too much money on their campaigns. Our country is in a $328 billion debt and our government officials believe they can spend millions of dollars on the campaigns. People are blaming this all on Obama but Obama is only part of the problem. If we continue to spend this kind of money on U.S. Senate races these people better be great government officials because they are going to need to get that money back. But what is bugging me the most about our government is that the officials are making billions of dollars a year and keeping it in an offshore account while they are taxing so much out of people and they don't have any taxes. Now the problem with this is we can't change this because the people who aren't getting taxed are the ones making the laws about taxes. We need a better government. This government has either messed a lot of things up or has done very little. Money isn't the main issue but it the most talked about issue other than health care and medicaid. I feel that a lot of people are getting over payed ( sports players, government officials) and a lot of people are getting under payed because of this. Our government needs help and spending this much money on campaigns isn't helping the cause. These millions of dollars can go to something more helpful to this country other than their campaigns. http://www.concordmonitor.com/news/campaignmonitor/14037099-95/us-sen-jeanne-shaheen-has-more-than-double-cash-on-hand-than-republican-scott-brownSo I keep hearing about Ebola. All I know about Ebola is that it's deadly. They say Ebola is going to be as bad as AIDS. So what is Ebola? Ebola is a deadly virus which can only be spread by infected body fluids and it's very infectious. Symptoms of Ebola are fever and severe internal bleeding. The first case of Ebola has happened in Africa and is now spreading. It has spread to Dallas Texas because the patient (now dead) Thomas Duncan lied about not having symptoms to get back into the country. Because of this all flights coming from Africa are having all the passengers get tested for Ebola before they leave Africa. Now there is a nurse in Dallas that has contracted the Ebola virus. People are wondering how that is possible. She went from a nurse to a patient. This has pushed the union to send for better equipment, education, and better nurse training. This nurse that has been infected had wanted to obey protocol but didn't want to point fingers at people for this. There has been a creation of an Ebola vaccine but they are not sure is a 100% cure for Ebola. There are some test patients that have had the vaccine. They test patients believe that it won't hurt to be prepared but some are very afraid it will end up infecting them. People are afraid it will infect all the highly populated countries. With the cases of Ebola spreading to Spain, and the United States. People are are now even more worried about it coming to their hometown. With it anywhere in the United States it scares me because I'm afraid it will spread to my hometown but there is a very little chance it will happen but anything can happen. At this moment Ebola isn't scaring me as much as it's scaring some people who also live in my area. Now that I have researched Ebola I now have a better understanding of it and I hope you do too. http://www.cnn.com/2014/10/13/health/ebola-crisis/index.html http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/ebola-outbreak-1st-human-trials-of-canadian-vaccine-start-in-u-s-1.2796859
